Hi all,
I noticed rhel 6.5 was released and now most centos mirrors have been updated: http://lists.centos.org/__pipermail/centos-announce/__2013-December/020032.h... <http://lists.centos.org/pipermail/centos-announce/2013-December/020032.html>
It appears to have a new version of qemu-kvm-0.12.1.2-2.415.el6.__x86_64.rpm
Is it now possible to switch from POSIX to native glusterfs? If so, how would one do that, I assume it requires some sort of database hack.
Thanks, Andrew

its a code change in vdsm, not an engine config. there is still a gap around libvirt support for snapshots with libgfapi which is why this isn't enabled yet.
Oh, I was thinking along the lines of "Datacenter Type: Gluster" but I haven't been able to progress further with the limited hardware as the engine won't allow the modification.
no simple way to change these, true.
I'm not so much interested in snapshots, I'm just keen to test out the better disk speeds
engine expect snapshots to work, so libgfapi was disabled when this issue was found, pending the libvirt fix.
