Hi,
Non-responsive mean that the Engine application is not able to connect to the VDSM service
running on the KVM host.
Did you check the Engine and KVM host logs?
Many factors may cause this error:
- all kvm hosts have the same kernel version
- kernel modules loaded (kvm)
- network issue
- vdsmd or libvirtd not running
- unsync date and time (is chronyd configured and running on all servers?)
- servers name resolution (engine and kvm hosts)
- is there any custom firewall rules blocking communication?
Marcos

Subject: [External] : [ovirt-users] The KVM Host Status Stucking in Connecting
Please help me, I found that my Cluster is in Non-responsive status.
When I look at the Host menu page, I see that the status is Connecting and it has been
stuck for a long time and I can't do anything.
Has anyone experienced this and how do I fix it?
