Then login again (or just open a new shell), and verify that it worked by running:
locale
and verifying that there are no errors.
Hi, It worked after I reinitialised the DB like this: initdb --locale=C -E UNICODE -D /var/lib/pgsql/data Might be nice to be able to specify/force this from /etc/sysconfig or similar, this is not very user friendly. :-) Thanks for your help!
