Hi, I got the same problem once and it seems to be related to memory. So first thing is make sure you have at least 4 gb of ram because thats the minimum requirement for ovirt-engine to run. If with 4gb+ ram you still getting error like this then you must have no swap memory turn on. In that case create a swap partition and turn on using 'swapon /dev/swap-partition'. I have an existing swap partition. I turned swap off and on again,

If the error is still there then may be jvm is not able to access the memory at some place due to selinux. So disable the selinux then try again. Hmmm... I must say I'm not sure I use selinux. I use Debian; if I were using a RHEL-based distro, then I think this would be the case.
