You need to provide the settings used in RAID controller in the gdeploy config. gdeploy does not configure RAID, but uses the RAID settings to optimize the lvm layout.

My second question is where do I get the Device name in the following:

Is this the dev/sda on the disk or some other name.

Yes- the device name as shown in lsblk output

I was planning on using ovirt node as a staring point as that seems easier.
