In fact I would actually like to know how to approach and change the source-email address so that you can actually see what host the email is coming from rather than from localhost. Hello all - does anyone know how to update the destination-emails address after the hosted-engine is deployed ? And can this be done from the webadmin GUI ? I
# cat /var/lib/ovirt-hosted-engine-ha/broker.conf [email] smtp-server = mailhost.ts.com smtp-port = 25 source-email = root@localhost <mailto:root@ny2-lab-008.mgt.tradingscreen.com> *destination-emails = emai-addressl@ts.com <mailto:emai-addressl@ts.com> <-- want to change this *
[notify] state_transition = maintenance|start|stop|migrate|up|down
And I've done the following on both nodes but itseems to keeps on getting over-written:
1) Shutdown the hosted-engine
2) Stopped these services on all nodes: service ovirt-ha-agent stop service ovirt-ha-broker stop
3) Updated broker.conf on each node: Edited /var/lib/ovirt-hosted-engine-ha/broker.conf on each node Edited /etc/ovirt-hosted-engine/answers.conf <-- just for good measure
4) Re-started these services on all nodes: service ovirt-ha-agent start service ovirt-ha-broker start
5) Restarted the hosted-engine.
Thanks, Joe.
