Being on a current kernel in the hypervisor just gives a better feeling in a 10GBit NFS environment. That comes from several "would-have-been-nice-to-have-that-optimization-option" experiences.
interesting. i assume you mean for the client machines, rather than the NFS server. to learn a bit more on this - do you have some examples of such optimizations which are in latest fedora but not in say, el6.5 kernel? Thanks, Itamar
