I only get Test failed: Internal JSON-RPC error when adding the infos with ipmilan on the engine. From the command line I can use ipmitool but without specifying any user. On the Engine I must specify an user. There’s no way to leave it blank.
Yes, oVirt requires that you will authenticate against the fencing card although I see in the fence_ipmilan script man page that it has a *auth *parameter that can be set to *"auth=none" *to bypass this authentication, so maybe we should enabled blank user/password if this flag is given in the options field ...
