indeed. you can run the engine, but not the hosts. you could deploy ovirt-engine for managing a gluster cluster, which can live as amazon instances. for engine demo purposes, you could run ovirt engine with virtual hosts that use fake-qemu or plain qemu (host would need to falsly report they have vt enabled).
