I don't think yum remove ovirt-release42 removes the repo files ( maybe because they're configuration files)? rpm -qf /etc/yum.repos.d/ovirt-4.2* yum erase ovirt-release42 ( if the package still installed) rm /etc/yum.repos.d/ovirt-4.2* ( to actually remove the repositories) Regards, Paul S. ________________________________ From: adam_xu@adagene.com.cn <adam_xu@adagene.com.cn> Sent: 20 February 2019 00:41 To: Juhani Rautiainen Cc: ovirtlist; Lucie Leistnerova Subject: [ovirt-users] Re: How to upgrade ovirt node host? Hi, Juhani. I followed the steps below: 1. yum remove ovirt-release42 2. yum install https://resources.ovirt.org/pub/yum-repo/ovirt-release43.rpm 3. yum update ovirt-node-ng-image-update 4. reboot 5. yum update and the ovirt-4.2.repo comes back after I reboot the node host. ________________________________ yours Adam From: Juhani Rautiainen<mailto:juhani.rautiainen@gmail.com> Date: 2019-02-19 21:58 To: adam_xu@adagene.com.cn<mailto:adam_xu@adagene.com.cn> CC: ovirtlist<mailto:users@ovirt.org>; Lucie Leistnerova<mailto:lleistne@redhat.com> Subject: [ovirt-users] Re: How to upgrade ovirt node host? Thank you. Your answer solved my problems. After I installed the big rpm and reboot. there are two repo files remains in /etc/yum.repos.d/ ovirt-4.2-dependencies.repo ovirt-4.2.repo maybe I should remove the 2 files to avoid any conflicts?
I think that they'll disappear if you do yum remove ovirt-release42 -Juhani _______________________________________________ Users mailing list -- users@ovirt.org To unsubscribe send an email to users-leave@ovirt.org Privacy Statement: https://www.ovirt.org/site/privacy-policy/ oVirt Code of Conduct: https://www.ovirt.org/community/about/community-guidelines/ List Archives: https://lists.ovirt.org/archives/list/users@ovirt.org/message/2PE4TWKZHMCJYI...
