I've never actually tried node. i always just initiate the host install from engine.
Is one preferred over the other for test day?
Hey Greg,
Node is different, it's main focus is on stability and ease of maintenance. It is delivered in image form an can be installed using PXE, or an USB media.
It is an alternative to using a full blown host. And you are also free to use it on the testday :)
If it's generally faster to get Node up vs. a engine-initiated host, I think I'll def try it next time. Thanks :)

I've set up a node with that ISO and it complains about compatibility.
"Host node1 is compatible with versions (3.0,3.1,3.2,3.3) and cannot join Cluster Default which is set to version 3.4"
