Hi Strahil , Thanks. Just an update on my original post, I made a mistake, I am upgrading
from 4.4 to 4.5, and not 4.3 to 4.4.
Since I posted my original message, I have done a couple of more test. Using Ansible I am
able to kickstart a RHEL8.8 server and have a standalone engine up and running in about 15
mins. My Current plan now is to, perform a backup just in case. However I will turn off
all non-essential VMs, so I can shutdown half the hypervisors. While the essential VMs are
still running, I will kickstart the removed hypervisors and add them to the new standalone
engine. I will then schedule an outage, shutdown the remaining VMs, detach the data
storage from the old environment, and import the storage domain to the new engine. I can
then import the VMs from the storage to the new environment.
Hopefully this will work.
