Live snapshot depends on your version of qemu-kvm. For instance, on CentOS 6.5, the repositories no not provide yet the sufficient qemu version level. Thus, though oVirt allows trying to run a live snapshot, the underlying qemu will refuse.
I thought I understood that people using very recent version of Fedora were able to install a capable qemu version.
Wait and see.
