Que yo sepa, no existe alternativa al reinstalarlo... La maquina de manejamiento hereda su
configuracion del cluster y en este caso, cuando lo tengas cambiado, le falta la hardware
virtualizada para arrancar, y como no tienes GUI tampoco lo puedes cambiar... ¡No eres el
primero quien haya caido en esa trampa! A mí me lo occurió igual...
I had the same issue and I find it much to easy to fall into.
In my case since because on 4.4 the cluster default is on Q35, some of my older FX440
based VMs failed to work, because Ethernet devices got renamed on Q35
"hardware". So I went to change the default config on the cluster to not enforce
the Q35 base and then ran into the new management engine failing to start, because that
didn't like the FX440 base hardware it inherited from the cluster, even if it had been
running as a Q35 machine after installation and should perhaps have retained that.
Since oVirt seems to re-synthesize virtual machine hardware on every startup, the rules on
how the machines are re-constituted perhaps need to be better described and controlled,
especially in these migration scenarios.
