Thanx for the response. One more follow-up question: I'm
currently
only
running three ESXi 4.1 boxes (one large 710, two small 2950s) so VDSM
is
a bit overkill. Is there a plan for a simpler "VDSM Lite" on the
horizon
that would make more sense for an installation with only a few nodes?
That would be attractive for me.
Again, Thanx for the response...
Garth
Well, VDSM does support hundreds of hosts, but it work well in a small environments. (my
testing environment contains normally up to 5 hosts, so you have nothing to worry about.)
There are no plans for a "VDSM Lite", but I'd like to hear why the current
VDSM is such a problem for you.
Ofer.
