Hi John,
I'm basically a newbie at this but I installed self-hosted release 3.6 on 22 with no problems

Please find below a link to the installation guide for 3.5.5 which should guide you to all needed info: [except for Fedora update info, of course] http://www.ovirt.org/OVirt_3.5.5_Release_Notes
Hi, we couldn't provide Fedora > 20 support in 3.5.z due to too many changes between Fedora 20 and 21. We introduced support for Fedora 22 in 3.6 which is supposed to go GA in 2 days.
Ok, everything makes sense now. Thanks to everyone who chimed in. My plan is to commence with a fresh host build with Fedora 22 and oVirt 3.6. -- John Florian --------------070300010503060107070801 Content-Type: text/html; charset=utf-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit <html> <head> <meta content="text/html; charset=utf-8" http-equiv="Content-Type"> </head> <body text="#000000" bgcolor="#FFFFFF"> <div class="moz-cite-prefix">On 11/02/2015 03:42 AM, Sandro Bonazzola wrote:<br> </div> <blockquote cite="mid:CAPQRNTnwVcu9yY5OTeTwFV=hr7m2vbeC+KuFQF46YmEs1um=Ag@mail.gmail.com" type="cite"> <div dir="ltr"><br> <div class="gmail_extra"><br> <div class="gmail_quote">On Sat, Oct 31, 2015 at 6:34 PM, Mark Cahall <span dir="ltr"><<a moz-do-not-send="true" href="mailto:markcahall@gmail.com" target="_blank">markcahall@gmail.com</a>></span> wrote:<br> <blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0 0 0 .8ex;border-left:1px #ccc solid;padding-left:1ex"> <div dir="ltr"> <div> <div>Hi John,<br> <br> I'm basically a newbie at this but I installed self-hosted release 3.6 on 22 with no problems <br> <br> -- You didn't mention your intended path to 22, update or fresh install, but I did a fresh install of 22, added the ovirt-36 repository and then installed allinone and everything went smoothly, -- so I would expect 3.5.5 on 22 would install for you with no issues<br> <br> </div> Please find below a link to the installation guide for 3.5.5 which should guide you to all needed info: [except for Fedora update info, of course]<br> <a moz-do-not-send="true" href="http://www.ovirt.org/OVirt_3.5.5_Release_Notes" target="_blank">http://www.ovirt.org/OVirt_3.5.5_Release_Notes</a><span class="HOEnZb"><font color="#888888"><br> <br> </font></span></div> </div> </blockquote> <div><br> </div> <div>Hi,</div> <div>we couldn't provide Fedora > 20 support in 3.5.z due to too many changes between Fedora 20 and 21.</div> <div>We introduced support for Fedora 22 in 3.6 which is supposed to go GA in 2 days.</div> </div> </div> </div> </blockquote> <br> Ok, everything makes sense now.
