I found your email in SPAM ... no idea how it happened.Well, I don't know how this
happened for me , but the ovirt-ha-agent was not able to open the OVF for the HostedEngine
- it was 0 bytes.
So in my case I have manually defined the HostedEngine via an xml found in the vdsm logs
and I also defined the ovirtmgmt network (found on the web).Once you power up the
HostedEngine , the OVF get's updated a little bit slower than the timer set inside
it.
In my case - I needed at least 2-3 hours before the OVF got updated and I could power down
and power up via the 'hosted-engine' tool.

i tried to upgrade to centos 7 and follow the path 3.4 > 3.5 > 3.6 > 4.0. i

I have searched a bit and not really found a solution, and have come to the conclusion
that i have made a mess of things, and am wondering if the best solution is to export the
VMs, and reinstall everything then import them back?
i am using remote NFS storage.
if i try and add the hosted engine storage domain it says it is already registered.
i have also upgraded and am now running oVirt Engine Version: 4.0.4.4-1.el7.centos
hosts were installed using ovirt-node. currently at 3.10.0-327.28.3.el7.x86_64
if a fresh install is best, any advice / pointer to doc that explains best way to do
this?
i have not moved my most important server over to this cluster yet so i can take some
downtime to reinstall.
