
Hi Joop, thanks for your feedback, the workaround you suggested did the trick. I noticed that we've got other ovirt nodes running fine with kernel-3.9.4-200.fc18.x86_64 but that does not seem to be present in the fedora stable repo. Search the mailinglist for cpu stuck and you'll find more threads about it and the only answer yet, stick to kernel 3.6.10. Anything higher will cause random cpu stuck on boot in combo with multipath. Some bugreports seem to indicate that energy saving mode ( c states) is responsible but can't confirm this but you can try setting bios to max performance, no powersave states.
