Hi, My last oVirt node commissioned long time ago, I didn’t use oVirt Node ISO because after node upgrade it wiped out all my custom scripts. I used standard CentOS distro ISO, and then add host in oVirt engine, which installs necessary components. With some tweaks it should work with Alma or Rocky linux. PS. Someone from developer team can clarify this ?

@Andrei, What about what the Blog states, "To everyone using the oVirt Node NG we urge you to switch over to another way of using the product for ensured stability and security due to the way of how that product is structured."? OVirt is recommending the no one use the oVirt Node CentOS 9 ISO anymore. Could I use Alma 9 as the stand-alone oVirt engine instead of using the oVirt Node CentOS 9 ISO? Or would you recommend to continue using the oVirt Node CentOS 9 ISO? _______________________________________________ Users mailing list -- users@ovirt.org To unsubscribe send an email to users-leave@ovirt.org Privacy Statement: https://www.ovirt.org/privacy-policy.html oVirt Code of Conduct: https://www.ovirt.org/community/about/community-guidelines/ List Archives: https://lists.ovirt.org/archives/list/users@ovirt.org/message/QYVSZPI7CSVUC4...
