I've been looking around and trying to find a way to test hypervisors technologies on to of oVirt, in the most realistic way possible. Primarily openstack, so I was wondering if there was a way to trunk a virtual interface so i can run nested guests on different VLANs?
Secondly, does anybody have any experience with simulating IPMI? so fencing guests is possible using IPMI? I know there is a rhevm fence agent as an alternative.
AFAIK the hypervisor does not implement IPMI However, you can track this open BZ [1] on libvirt [1] https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=815136
Thanks.
Dan
