I believe you just need to visit the spice proxy port it connects to via https in another tab/window (and accept the security warning) because it uses a self signed certificate and the browser will block the connection.
Or just got to http://<engine>/ca.crt and retrieve the CA certificate from the engine, import that into your browser authorized CAs and you are good to go.
