Does the NFS share have the correct permissions
chown –R 36:36 /path/to/nfs/share
I have setup the engine many times, and never had this type of issue…

can you please check SELinux audit logs with
ausearch -m avc
in the past we had some issue with selinux which result in similar behaviors.
