ok, it is there in the vdsm log:
Thread-58161::ERROR::2013-08-29 07:48:18,255::libvirtvm::2089::vm.Vm::(snapshot)
vmId=`e4226eb3-9758-4d19-a4d3-0a263189013d`::The base volume doesn't exist:
{'device': 'disk', 'domainID':
'f5846dee-cbe1-415e-8452-d9fec8f2bcd0', 'volumeID':
'8b177d7c-4577-4ec4-adab-d2c87377f34a', 'imageID':
'c7a90893-83e9-4781-905f-470a2e6b653f'}
And this is the relevant snippet from vdsm:
# The volume we want to snapshot doesn't exist
_rollbackDrives(newDrives)
self.log.error("The base volume doesn't exist: %s",
baseDrv)
I would suspect that this is another DB inconsistency, the engine is sending a disk to
snapshot that does not exist on the storage. Can you still start this VM?
Thank you,
Laszlo

Ok, it is there in the VDSM log:
I can star, stop and edit this VM as normally.
Only snapshots doesnt
work. It does not work for imported and even for newly created VMs.
