You don't need to host the engine on the gluster cluster. I know people you have hosted the engine on a bare metal (pacemaker cluster) , so feel free to experiment. The only requirement is that tge engine needs to be able to communicate with the hosts (I'm not sure if layer 2 connectivity is necessary). Every piece of documentation I read regarding the setup of Gluster seems to suggest using at least one of the the nodes to host the engine. Is this a requirement of can I use an engine that is deployed on a VM on another server in the same network? Any info would be much appreciated. _______________________________________________ Users mailing list -- users@ovirt.org To unsubscribe send an email to users-leave@ovirt.org Privacy Statement: https://www.ovirt.org/site/privacy-policy/ oVirt Code of Conduct: https://www.ovirt.org/community/about/community-guidelines/ List Archives: https://lists.ovirt.org/archives/list/users@ovirt.org/message/LN4CTUMQSTJX4E...
