I have the following version of the packages:
ovirt-engine-3.6.4.1-1.el7.centos.noarch ovirt-engine-webadmin-portal-3.6.4.1-1.el7.centos.noarch
And it is running on CentOS 7.
Is this a bug? or went something wrong when upgrading?
It is most likely a bug in the UI. The stack trace in the UI.log is an obfuscated stack trace so no that useful. If you can reproduce this reliably can you do the following?
1. Install the ovirt UI debug symbol maps by running: yum install ovirt-engine-webadmin-portal-debuginfo ovirt-engine-userportal- debuginfo
This will install the symbol maps that will allow us to translate the obfuscated code back into the original source code. We don't normally install this by default as its rather large ~80 megabytes.
2. Log into the webadmin again and do the same steps that generate the exception popup. Look in the UI.log again. This time the stack trace should be readable. Please open a bug in bugzilla and include the non obfuscated stack trace, or post the stack trace here and I can open it for you.
