Yes, I plan to update it. I already updated them on another VM with Win 7. In the past I had problems with virtio on Windows XP, especially the network part. So my answer was only to give an example of a working virtio disk+net combination for Win XP. I'll let you know how it goes with latest spice-guest-tools Gianluca
