server settings. As I wrote, the conenction to the server is possible, it
asked for the password, if I enter the correct one the window is directly
closed without an error message. If I enter a wrong password, the message
is shown, that it is not correct. So connection/check seems working

this part looks like an issue with your client. Any reason not to use
remote-viewer? Maybe try to look into the logs of your client?
With noVNC only "Loading" is shown, no further message.
do you have the websocket proxy up and running and reachable?
