Hi all, thank you for your help.
I found the reason of my issue : dreyou 3.2 repo installed an old
external qemu-kvm-rhev rpm intended to support live snapshot and was
still on the hosts after upgrading manually vdsm. This qemu version was
too old to support 6.5 guest. I upgraded to official qemu-kvm, then
everything went on. Finally, I decided to install qemu-kvm from the
jenkins site to get back the snapshot capability. No more problem!

actually, upgrading the hosts should always be ok, even if to a newer
version. its a bug in engine 3.3 not allowing this.
but that doesn't seem related to the complaint here, which requires
further investigation with he details Roy asked for.

There´s your problem. You should always make sure that your
hosts are at
the same level of functionality as the engine. Breakage like
this isn´t
nice, but you should have paid more close attention to the
upgrade

process.

Having a gazillion different "release" packages floating around
isn´t

helping, and installing them leaves ".repo" files behind that
can mess

it all up, but that´s the way it is. That particular issue was

it

already was:)
