Hi Domien,
you can just proceed on your installation even if the CPU is getting recognized as AMD
EPYC-MILAN.
We’re working on an update that will introduce the support for latest Intel and AMD CPUs;
once released you will have the option to switch it.

We are starting up a cluster with AMD Genoa CPU’s (AMD EPYC 9454) on Oracle Linux (oVirt
4.5.5-1.42.el8).
For now the only (recent) CPU profile that works is AMD EPYC-MILAN.
We have the libvirt/cpu_map XML file and know to place it in the
/usr/share/libvirt/cpu_map folder on the hosts, but I’m not sure how oVirt will react to
this.
Does anyone have any experience with this?
