Hi suporte, You probably encountered this bug https://bugzilla.redhat.com/884635. The fix for this bug should delete the disk from the engine even though the image does not exists in the storage. Can u please attach or check the VDSM and engine log just to be sure, that you encountered the same scenario in this bug. You should see in the logs that you got a message which indicates that the image does not exists in the domain (ImageDoesNotExists) Regards, Maor On 04/29/2013 12:37 PM, suporte@logicworks.pt wrote:

Not yet. The fix should be released as part of ovirt 3.3 but will not be part of 3.2 version. An alternative way is to delete the disk from the DB, although I would recommend that it will be better if you can wait for the upcoming version to come out.
You should see in the logs that you got a message which indicates that the image does not exists in the domain (ImageDoesNotExists)
Regards, Maor

Hi,
I have a disk in illegal state, without being able to remove it. This is due to problem I had in the NFS ISO domain, I was able to remove the VM without the disk, but now cannot remove the disk in illegal state. Any solution for this?
Regards Jose

Hi, I'm starting to investigate OVIRT and i've got a question. My goal is to have a classroom full of computers booting remotely on virtual machines. Is it possible with ovirt to boot directly on a remote VM without having a local OS to go through the web portal ? Thanx

Ovirt VMs are like any other VM (or physical computer for that matter), you can connect to them using ssh, putty,XTerm or any remote desktop flavour you wish. So a simple script on the local machines to open up the connection shouldn't be hard to create. Good luck! :) ----- Original Message ----- From: "Olivier Boulin" <olivier.boulin@dijon.iufm.fr> To: users@ovirt.org Sent: Tuesday, May 7, 2013 12:19:29 PM Subject: [Users] booting an ovirt VW Hi, I'm starting to investigate OVIRT and i've got a question. or you can use spice to connect to the VM console like the user portal does, from ovirt-cli, or by writing your own script using the SDK/API directly.
Good luck! :)
