No, we do not - not if it exposes 4K blocks. Y.
Is this on the roadmap?
Not in the short term roadmap. Of course, patches are welcome. It's mainly in VDSM. I wonder if it'll work in NFS. Y.
I don't think I ever replied to this, but I can confirm that in RHEV 3.6 it works with NFS. Not yet. If this is important to you, I suggest to open an ovirt bug and explain your use case. You can also get someone to implement this. Note that this will not be easy change, there is lost of code assuming 512 bytes block size. The change also require changes in sanlock. Vdsm and sanlock must agree on the block size used for a storage domain. Nir
Thanks.

David, do you know if 4k disks over NFS works for sanlock?

When using files, sanlock always does 512 byte i/o. This can be a problem when there are 4k disks used under NFS. On disks, sanlock detects the sector size (with libblkid) and uses 512/4k accordingly. If vdsm knows when to use 4k i/o over files, I can add a sanlock flag that vdsm can use to create 4k sanlock leases. Dave
