[Users] Vlan tagging and VM Interfaces

Hi, I've got a scenario: Router->Node (vlan tag 100, vlan tag 101)->VM Does the node take care of the tagging or will the VM's interface also need to be tagged. Right now the VM's interface is not in a VLAN and it can't connect to the router. Thanks, Andrew

Hi Andrew, The node will tag all packets. All you have to do is to specify the VLAN tag for your logical network in oVirt and configure the switch/router to not tag packets (as this is done by oVirt node already) and allow VLAN 100 and 101... So there's no need to configure VLANs in your vm.
