At present time we have only affinity filter and affinity weight module, so you can see work of affinity groups only when you start or manually migrate vms. If you have hard positive affinity group, that include two vms, and first vm was started on first host, second vm also must start on first host. I don't know if devs will add also balancing module for affinity groups. But you can open PRD bug for this one.
