[Users] 503 error on Engine Login

Hi guys, On a test machine that got a scheduled poweroutage I get a 503 error when I login. I thought about routing because there are two network interfaces but this is not the problem because it even happens when I set one nic to down. The logfiles don't give me information about this error, anyone an idea ? Never seen it. Cheers, Matt

If both apache and the engine are up, you might try to restart apache. -- Didi ------=_Part_200561_1046566040.1376828110492 Content-Type: text/html; charset=utf-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <html><body><div style=3D"font-family: times new roman, new york, times, se= rif; font-size: 12pt; color: #000000"><div></div><blockquote style=3D"borde= r-left:2px solid #1010FF;margin-left:5px;padding-left:5px;color:#000;font-w= eight:normal;font-style:normal;text-decoration:none;font-family:Helvetica,A= rial,sans-serif;font-size:12pt;"><b>From: </b>"Matt ." <yamakasi.014@gma= il.com><br><b>To: </b>"users" <users@ovirt.org><br><b>Sent: </b>Su= nday, August 18, 2013 3:01:32 PM<br><b>Subject: </b>[Users] 503 error on En= gine Login<br><div><br></div><div dir=3D"ltr"><div><div><div><div>Hi guys,<= br><div><br></div>On a test machine that got a scheduled poweroutage I get = a 503 error when I login.<br><div><br></div></div>I thought about routing b= ecause there are two network interfaces but this is not the problem because= it even happens when I set one nic to down.<br><br></div>The logfiles don'= t give me information about this error, anyone an idea ?</div></div></div><= /blockquote><div><br></div><div>If both apache and the engine are up, you m= ight try to restart apache.</div><div><span style=3D"font-size: 12pt;">--&n= bsp;</span></div><div><span name=3D"x"></span>Didi<span name=3D"x"></span><= br></div><div><br></div></div></body></html> ------=_Part_200561_1046566040.1376828110492--

I have tried that and most of the time you get a qualified domainname issue, which is not always a problem, the first error actually gives me a bad feeling. Are the IP's also set somewhere in the config files or is this all wildcard ? Starting httpd: httpd: apr_sockaddr_info_get() failed for ovirt-01.domain.local httpd: Could not reliably determine the server's fully qualified domain name, using 127.0.0.1 for ServerName 2013/8/18 Yedidyah Bar David <didi@redhat.com>

Solved, seems to be an issue in the hostsfile of the ovirt engine becaus of the fact that the DNS server was down as a it's a VM too. Thanks! 2013/8/18 Matt . <yamakasi.014@gmail.com>
