Hi,
I changed the previous all in one network to a dedicated gluster storage
at the network level. But when doing netstat (or gluster peer status), I
can see that listening connection still use the previous vlan and gluster
bricks are probed on this vlan.
I detached them with ovirt or manually to probe them an other time, but
they are still probed on the initial ovirtmgmt vlan.
What is this gluster network supposed to do in reality?
Gluster does not have full support for network segregation. What we achieve
with gluster network in oVirt is to have the gluster cluster peer probed
with the management (ovirtmgmt) network, and while creating volumes the
bricks are addressed using the IP address assigned to gluster network. This
ensures that the brick data traffic is on a separate network.
