What’s my move now? Hopefully the install can be salvaged….
It's hard to say without a detailed log but yesterday we found an issue with HA services systemd unit files on Centos 7.2. Today we async released ovirt-hosted-engine-ha-1.3.3.5-1 that should fix it. Can you please check if you are already with that? If not please update it and manually restart ovirt-ha-broker and ovirt-ha-agent services, I'm quite confident the it should be enough.
FYI, I have three hosts I’m using for oVirt; they are named “ovirt-node-[01,02,03]”

I yum updated my hosts, and it did update ovirt-hosted-engine-ha on all to 1.3.3.5 (two of my hosts include the one I did the engine install on were previously 1.3.3.4, and the third one was 1.3.3.3 for some reason) Shortly thereafter, I began getting ovirt-hosted-engine state machine emails, and when I checked the state of the ovirt-ha-[agent,broker] services, they were running. When I got the email saying “EngineStarting-EngineUp”, I checked the web UI, and it was available, and I could successfully log into the admin site :) Thanks for your help, and onwards! W.
