Hi all,
just upgraded to the latest nightly and am faced with a host/cluster
compatibility issue, seems my cluster is only compatible with vdsm
[4.13, 4.14, 4.9,.4.11,4.12,4.10] but i'm now running 4.15.
Any ideas on how to upgrade the cluster to be 4.15 compatible?

As far as I know, latest version released is 4.14.8.1 (with oVirt 3.4.1).
Where did you got 4.15?

Hi,
I've got the nightly repo enabled it came from "ovirt-master-snapshot"
I'm quite prepared for breakages and work involved to fix, just wondered
if anyone could point me in the right direction.

As far as I know, latest version released is 4.14.8.1 (with oVirt

Which version of Engine are you running?
(I really hope it's not a nightly build, that would mean that
Bug 1016461 - [vdsm] engine fails to add host with vdsm version 4.13.0
was not solved properly)
What is your cluster level?

Sorry for taking so long to come back to you on this...
yes I'm on nightly and my cluster level is 3.5 (i set this, but that is
also causing another issue).
engine version is 3.5.0-0.0.master.20140519181229.gitc6324d4

Ah, ok. So it's not the bug I was afraid of. It's simply about Vdsm not
reporting the 3.5 clusterLevel yet (as it does not have all of 3.5
feature committed to, or so I thought).

reporting the 3.5 clusterLevel yet (as it does not have all of 3.5
feature committed to, or so I thought).
However, we merged an hour ago this patch http://gerrit.ovirt.org/#/c/28156/
which adds the 4.15 VDSM version as a version that the engine can work with.
However, as Dan said this VDSM still doesn't support cluster level 3.5, so you'll
be able to work with it in engine-3.5, but on 3.4 cluster level (in the next nightly I
guess).
