seems that the engine try to send null in the parameters to vdsm,
unfortunately your version (3.4) has a bug that cause the parameters not to be printed,
so i can't guess exactly what is null (fixed in http://gerrit.ovirt.org/#/c/25713/ )
the only thing i can advise is to start looking for the error:
first, select the cluster in the clusters tab, make sure in the sub tab you see a valid
'Cluster CPU Type' (should be the name of your hosts processor)
and 'Emulated Machine' (should be 'rhel6.4.0' or 'pc-1.0')
if so, is regular run (not run once) works?
can you try maybe trying on a new vm? (hopefully something is wrong only with this vm
configuration..)
the only thing left is to look in the db (vm static table) and look for suspicious null
values

ok from 1ovirt.png you can clearly see that the 'Emulated Machine' is null for the
cluster
you probably hit https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1077300
you can try maintenance ALL hosts and activate them again.
if it doesnt work, need to see what Emulations your host support,
run this on one of them:
vdsClient -s 0 getVdsCaps
and please paste here what returned for 'emulatedMachines'

great! the big issue is solved..
now it seems that the issue is that the vm has more memory than the host..
how much memory are you trying to use for the vm?
also if you want to have memory over-commit you need to set it on the cluster
(edit the cluster -> Optimization -> Memory Optimization -> for desktops load)
the above setting will allow ~200% over commit of memory

I think when i tried to create local storage a datacenter was automatically
created
before i had the host under "Default" datacenter but when i tried creating
local storage, it created another datacenter for me.
Now what do i put for the Path for the local storage?

That's the path to the folder on your host which should contain your vm
disk files. If you want your vm disks under /data/vms then use this path.
Just make sure the path exists, no files are in this directory and that
it is writable by 36:36 (vdsm:kvm).

Fixed the VNC problem
FIX
#1 edited the /etc/hosts file on my windows PC to pint the FQDN to the ip
address of the ovirt engine server and that was it!!!
Please add this to the documentation for people using windows to manage
thier ovirt clusters

Its mentioned in the documentation that you will need a working dns infrastructure,
either using a dns server or using host files.
I discovered by accident yesterday that if you name your vms with its ip address that you
probably won't need everything in dns or hosts but that gets cumbersome quite fast.
