is it possible to crate a storage pool on the same Centos hosts as the Gluster Storage ? if we use Gluster for the Hosted engine and use Ceph for VM's ? it seems Ceph is much more stable than Gluster and I like the way storage is more transparent in Ceph

CEPH requires more nodes than Gluster. Otherwise you should be able to use CEPH for storage, but integration is still experimental. I know that Gluster is having issues recently, but that's not something happening quite often and the solution is quite good. Neither CEPH or Gluster can guarantee that issues will not happen -> that's why enterprises pay for support to vendors like Red Hat, SuSE and Oracle which thoroughly test SDS before providing it to their customers.
