How did you get it to actually work? I got the deb from (http://ppa.launchpad.net/zhshzhou/vdsm-ubuntu/ubuntu/pool/main/o/ovirt-guest...)

, since I'm not willing to add ubuntu sources to my apt-configuration since that might make me run into dependency troubles later on.

This one works fine with Debian:

The version you try to use is for Ubuntu 13.10.
