For what i know, in console.vv file, vm.display.address property is
used, you can see the value with this api call:
https://engine.fqdn/ovirt-engine/api/vms
I'm using 4.2.0.2 and the file starts in this way:
[virt-viewer]
type=spice
host=kvm002.fqdn
I have here (console.vv):
[virt-viewer]
type=spice
host=192.168.nnn.nnn
That’s my problem here, with the HOST IPaddress without FQDN.
The ovirt-engine/webadmin and ovirt-engine/web-ui do the same thing here.
Console button call „ActionPanelView_ConsoleConnectCommand“.
So check with the api call and see which is the value you see there.
The api call list all vms with there FQDN names, no HOST info there.
