To get rid of the import task you have to:
1) move the host to maintenance 2) restart VDSM with: systemctl restart vdsmd 3) move the host back UP 4) restart engine
By the way, the VMware imports finished fine but the OVA is broken and will fail the import.

Hi, Did you intentionally send it directly to me and not to the list? Adding Saif and Tomas But I think they'll need the import logs (AFAIR in /var/log/vdsm/import) to investigate it further

I just want to kill this task alone since it is creating 7000 events

Looks like [1], however in that report the import process succeeded despite those errors. Can you please share the import logs?

Hi Team, Our UK Datacenter has 3 Ovirt nodes (physical hosts) Our Datacenter had a power Outage last week & shutdown and then two nodes are throwing different errors. Node 1 : When I run systemctl status ovirt-ha-agent systemctl status vmsd service , same error Node 3 : When I run, hosted-engine —vm-status You must run deploy first Node 2 : it is working fine but VM’s inside this node is not powering ON Our aim is to make run of hosted engine GUI , but now hosted engine CLI is working but couldn’t run any tasks here. Please help us in making our GUI hosted engine working. Regards, Sudhakar India phone # 8122953371 PH code : +91 or 0
