The correct way to do it is by:
1. Putting all hosts in maintenance mode
2. Changing the cluster cpu type to the desired one
3. Install the new host
4. Activate the hosts
5. Re-run the vms

The other way should be creating a new cluster, configure the old hosts on =
this new cluster. Is possible to share the same GlusterFS storage between 2=
clusters? Is possible to migrate servers and disks between the 2 clusters?=

migration is supported only within 1 cluster (except for el6 to el7 =
transition)
using Nehalem just means your QEMUs will run only Nehalem instructions =
even when the host is e.g. SandyBridge and have some more advanced =
instructions available. It will run a little bit slower.

If you're already managing the gluster nodes in another cluster, there's
no need to add it again. I'm not sure I understand the setup. You need
to enable gluster services in the second cluster only if this is going
to have gluster volumes running on it. To use a gluster volume (running
on another cluster), there's no need to enable gluster service.

You need to enable gluster services in the second cluster only if this
is going to have gluster volumes running on it. To use a gluster
volume (running on another cluster), there's no need to enable gluster
service.

migration?
The other way should be creating a new cluster, configure the old
hosts on this new cluster. Is possible to share the same GlusterFS
storage between 2 clusters? Is possible to migrate servers and
disks between the 2 clusters?

The correct way to do it is by:
1. Putting all hosts in maintenance mode
2. Changing the cluster cpu type to the desired one
3. Install the new host
4. Activate the hosts
5. Re-run the vms

he same Gluster storage allready installed on the data center. The Gluster =

The other way should be creating a new cluster, configure the old hosts on =
this new cluster. Is possible to share the same GlusterFS storage between 2=
clusters? Is possible to migrate servers and disks between the 2 clusters?=

The correct way to do it is by:=20
1. Putting all hosts in maintenance mode=20
2. Changing the cluster cpu type to the desired one=20
3. Install the new host=20
4. Activate the hosts=20
5. Re-run the vms=20

I lower the cluster CPU type but a Windows 10 VM did not boot and I was not=

Host node2 reports about one of the Active Storage Domains as Problematic.=

When creating a second cluster do I need to select " Import existing gluste=
r configuration " and than "Enter the details of any server in the
cluster"=
, the details are about the Gluster storage server?=20
If you're already managing the gluster nodes in another cluster, there's no=
need to add it again. I'm not sure I understand the setup. You need to ena=
ble gluster services in the second cluster only if this is going to have gl=
uster volumes running on it. To use a gluster volume (running on another cl=
uster), there's no need to enable gluster service.=20

Yes, my intention is to run hosts with a different CPU level (older) in the=
second cluster. I want to run hosts on this second cluster and VMs using t=
he same Gluster storage allready installed on the data center. The Gluster =

When creating a second cluster do I need to select " Import existing gluste=
r configuration " and than "Enter the details of any server in the
cluster"=
, the details are about the Gluster storage server?=20
If you're already managing the gluster nodes in another cluster, there's no=
need to add it again. I'm not sure I understand the setup. You need to ena=
ble gluster services in the second cluster only if this is going to have gl=
uster volumes running on it. To use a gluster volume (running on another cl=
uster), there's no need to enable gluster service.=20

2. Changing the cluster cpu type to the desired one=20
3. Install the new host=20
