As a suggestion for next time: Execute: service vdsmd restart on the node. You'll not loose your running VMs and it will work afterwards. I think I managed to pinpoint the issue, however we're still trying to verify the patch I have implemented as a proposal for it. I noticed that logs won't help me that much on that issue as this is some condition where the connection between host and guest times out due to the server being busy or something.
