review this one: https://access.redhat.com/site/documentation/en-US/Red_Hat_Enterprise_Virtua... iirc, you can't limit number of VMs, rather number of vCPUs, RAM and Storage.

Hi Maurice, With quota you can set a hard limit for the number of CPU consumed by the user, and by that limit the num of vms, other quota parameters (memory and storage) can be unlimited. Although these videos are for version 3.1 they are pretty useful, since there weren't any drastic change since then: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zazJ_fW05Qk http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y8qUoRImimY you are more than welcome to send your progress/use-case/any other question :-) Thanks, Gilad. ----- Original Message -----

Maurice, Did you file a report?

Hi Maurice. Quota supports the resource level (storage, CPU, RAM) rather than VM count. So please open an RFE with your needs so we'll be able to add it to the requested tasks. We can try to hack it using a scheduling filter, but I'd rather have a proper support for such a request. Doron
