Install VirtualBox (free & open source) + any Linux desktop or Windows.
I use VirtualBox on several Macs and PCs to run some Windows software.

I use mac to manage Ovirt and I find the best method is to set vnc on VM
and choose no vnc option, this way you can launch right from a web browser

The *dmg *.pkg etc. didn’t work for me too.
So my solution on macOS (10.11) is:
*** Install Homebrew
$ /usr/bin/ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL**
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)"
*** Install virt-viewer
$ brew tap jeffreywildman/homebrew-virt-manager
* Use a shell script to open console.vv file like remote-viewer.sh
#!/bin/sh -eu
set $( ls $HOME/Downloads/console*.vv | tee -a /dev/tty | tail -1)
/usr/local/bin/remote-viewer "$@" ; rm -f $HOME/Downloads/console*.vv &
because i didn’t get configured a „action“ for *.vv files.
$ remote-viewer.sh
Enhancements are welcome!

in the pipeline.
May be you could try to rebuild it with homebrew or finkproject.

you can use VNC but spice,I always use vmvare's VM to connect,let things be easy is
best way!
