Given 'Steal Time' was introduced in RHEL 6.3? How long until same feature set will be in oVirt Nodes? Or is it already integrated?
Would we implement it in the node, or would this be something that we'd report in the guest agent and pass back through vdsm to the engine.

Steal would be reported by the guests. For the nodes you can report "guest" though I'm not sure if this is part of RHEL yet. This is what it looks like on a Fedora 15 system (man mpstat): %steal Show the percentage of time spent in involuntary wait by the virtual CPU or CPUs while the hypervisor was servicing another virtual processor. %guest Show the percentage of time spent by the CPU or CPUs to run a virtual processor. Regards, Dennis

Dennis - so you only mean reporting this to engine? can you please explain the use case? (as for when - depends on amount of interest or patches actively pushed for it)
