
Hello: if one has already created a VM, with hostname, IP address etc, are you then able to switch it to use cloud-init so that it reports back the IP address and hostname to the engine manager ? Thanks, Phil

You need to use run-once and select the initialization section (cloud-init under linux sysprep under Windows). The IP and the host name report back is not depended on cloud-init but on the ovirt-engine that is running in the guest os.

right, you need to install ovirt guest agent http://www.ovirt.org/Category:Ovirt_guest_agent
