Is there a way, when you create a new vm in ovirt, the Name you choose for
the vm, reflects the hostname of the vm?

Hi,
is this windows or linux guest?
for windows you can use windows sysprep, it requires using template and preparing it for
sysprep, the vm name will be the host name by default.
for linux, you can install cloud init package (>0.7.2), and in run-once you can set the
hostname and many other configurations
