future versions of oVirt

Where can I find information on future versions of oVirt so I can see its direction and progress?

I think the most close to a plan is github milestone targeting: https://github.com/oVirt/ovirt-release?tab=readme-ov-file#review-patches--is... I think that with Red Hat Virtualization end of life and Red Hat offboarding, oVirt community should open nominations for a community manager and have elections. Then the community manager should schedule a stakeholder planning meeting inviting those that are still contributing code to oVirt project and the oVirt Board and try to setup a plan for future versions. While at it, those that are contributing code should probably propose nominations for new oVirt Board members as the current board is still Red Hat and Caltech despite they are not commited to contributing code anymore. -- Sandro Bonazzola

Sandro, That seems like quite an undertaking. Not something I'm qualified to help with. *sigh* All I really want is for oVirt Node and the hosted-engine to be based on Rocky Linux 9 instead of CentOS Stream 9; mostly because of the EOL date for CentOS Stream vs Rocky Linux as well as the presumed better stability of RL. Otherwise, oVirt meets our needs presently and for the foreseeable future. :) I will check out that github link. Thanks for the feedback. -- Diggy
